Bass microsynth schematic5/15/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() This circuit is only for volume and bass control. You can play any song of your choice using an AUX cable. You can call this circuit a bass booster or volume control circuit because the purpose of this circuit is that you can manually control the volume and the bass of the output audio signal. It is for the big-box guitar microsynth, but it only differs from the bass unit in terms of a few component values e.g., for the filter. There are R1, R2, C3 and C4 determine the bass for the left headphone, And R3, R4, C7, C8 determine the bass in right. Working of the Audio Equalizer / bass booster. The older version of the EHX Bass Microsynth is a favorite of the Gap Band and players such as Juan Alderete (Racer X, The Mars Volta, Marilyn Manson). Knowing which chip is which is a whole other kettle of fish, though. The schematic can be gotten in many places. That said, the initial repair would not have been in any way possible with this drawing from my good buddy Stephen Giles, in England, who used to work as an accountant for EHX there, and seems to always have arcane pieces of technical info about their products. I had it running properly about February last year, but when I went to reassemble the unit, something either shorted or fractured (damn you with your solid-core wire, EHX!!!). I've been "repairing" one for the last year and a bit. ![]()
